FAQs
Who can rent from RideME-EV?
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid US drivers license, and valid auto insurance in the name of the renter.
Where can I go in my LSV?
There are strict State guidelines on the operation of LSVs. Vehicles are prohibited from operating on any roads posted in excess of 35 MPH. Operators must obey all traffic laws as required in any motor vehicle. This includes the use of seatbelts and child safety restraints.
Do LSVs drive like cars?
The speeds of LSVs are regulated by motor vehicle laws, and the manufacturer. Their maximum speed is 25 MPH.
LSVs are built to much different standards than your normal automobile. They handle much differently due to their narrower wheel base, suspensions, and safety equipment. There are risks to LSV transportation and vehicles can overturn if not driven safely.
All operators and passengers must wear seat belts at all times.
How long does the battery last?
Our LSVs are completely electric, and have a range of approximately 25-30 miles (under normal load and terrain conditions). It is the renter’s responsibility to maintain the battery charge. Batteries charge with any standard 110V outlet. A full charge takes 4-6 hours. Fees will be assessed for any stranded LSVs due to operating beyond battery limits.
